WEATHER SEALANT IS INSTALLED WHERE IT COUNTS

3/4" wide weather sealant closed cell PVC foam tape is installed at panel laps prior to riveting for superior leak resistance.

PREMIUM QUALITY

Vanguard FLOORING IS DESIGNED FOR LONG LIFE AND LOW MAINTENANCE

Floors are 1 3/8" thick laminated oak installed with three 5/16" diameter heat treated torx head screws per 12"board including edge boards in an alternating flange pattern, giving 24 screws per cross member. The floors are planed smooth on both sides to ensure a perfect fit with the cross members for unsurpassed loading capability. All boards are pre-undercoated with a premium waterborne acrylic emulsion for 100% coverage and excellent adhesion prior to laying on pre-painted cross members. Every board is caulked full length on both edge sides prior to installation to minimize moisture intrusion. And it's all done in their own plant to assure strict quality control. That's why they provide a 5-year warranty on all Vanguard-made flooring for every trailer they build.

HEAVY DUTY BEND AND TWIST RESISTANCE UNDERRIDE GUARD

4"x4"x11 gauge tube with a heavy duty 7 gauge x 5 3/8" wide vertical support. ½" thick x 2" deep steel corner bumpers provide additional door hinge and rear light protection. Complete under ride guard assembly is "bolt on" design for ease of maintenance.

Vanguard FRONT WALL CONSTRUCTION BUILT FOR MAXIMUM PROTECTION

Air and electrical lines are offset to roadside and installed within interior front wall, with low profile mount glad-hands. ¾" wide foam moisture barrier tape applied to perimeter and all front wall rivet attachments. Outer panel .048 smooth aluminum prepainted white. The interior of both bulkhead and full sheet and post designs is lined with plywood full height.

AAR (AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF RAILROADS) TESTED, APPROVED AND CERTIFIED UPPER COUPLER

This design with a 3 3/16" deep hi-tensile steel upper coupler assembly accommodates an AAR certified crosshead kingpin. It includes access holes for drainage and ease of maintenance. Coupler is protected with premium grade, rust preventative coatings.inside and out.

HEAVY DUTY 3" ALUMINUM HINGES

Five Aluminum hinges per door protected with electrolytic corrosion barriers between dissimilar metals. Breakaway aluminum hinges protect door from damage when hit versus steel hinges.
